Sales and Marketing for a Price-Winning Sophia Antipolis Startup
Mission:
We are seeking several profiles in Sales and Marketing, both Interns and full Employees.
The sales and marketing persons will directly assist the Sales & Marketing Director. The position will be adapted to fit junior or more senior candidates.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
On the Marketing side:
- Participation to the market analysis and development of market strategies and segmentation
- Tracking competitor offers and customer demand to understand market developments
- Preparation and support of Marketing Campaigns
- Editing and drafting promotional material such as press releases, brochures
On the Sales side:
- Contact prospective clients
- Participate to the development of partnerships with OEMs, ISVs, VARs, Integrator/SSII and Distributors
- Analyzing leads from online and other listings and qualifying then into a modern CRM (SugarCRM)
The intern or employee will have the opportunity to go to client sales meetings and attend civic and professional meetings.
As we are a startup company, the intern or employee will also have the possibility to participate to financial aspects if interested, for instance related to project management and fundings.
Overall, the intern or employee will get a well-rounded understanding and practice of business operations.
As we are a fast developing company with international potential, if the position is filled up as an internship it will be seen as a first step towards employment — after a Trainee (“Apprentis”) year for instance, in which case Stock Options will be offered.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Good communication skills
- Some CRM knowledge welcome
- Some background in software technologies are welcome

Stagiaire Ingénieur Commercial (anglais/français) dans le secteur IT (H/F)
ActiveEon est un éditeur de solutions logicielles open source dans le domaine du calcul parallèle et distribué qui permettent d’accélérer l’exécution des applications. Fondée à Sophia Antipolis en 2007, ActiveEon est issue du Projet de Recherche OASIS, projet commun entre l’INRIA, le CNRS et l’Université de Nice Sophia Antipolis, d’où elle puise son capital technologique et humain. ActiveEon est un acteur international majeur dans les solutions et services autour des technologies de calcul parallèle et distribué.
Dans le cadre du développement commercial, ActiveEon recrute un stagiaire Telesales bilingue (anglais/français).
Le poste à pourvoir est basé au siège social à Sophia Antipolis (06): au sein de l’équipe Commerciale et Marketing sous la responsabilité du responsable commercial, vous serez en charge de:
- génération de leads sur cibles grands comptes (SSII, Intégrateurs, sociétés de services/IT) et grandes PME (secteur géographique France, puis Europe et USA dans les 3 secteurs suivants: Finance, Biotech et Engineering)
- prospection dans un environnement “business development”
- qualification et suivi de la base de données (SugarCRM)
- qualification et suivi des contacts entrants (users)
- et planification et suivi de prospection (assurer la relation commerciale)
Vous êtes amené à travailler en collaboration avec la direction commerciale et marketing.
Profil autonome et dynamique, aimant (ou ayant un background en logiciel/IT) le secteur informatique et les challenges.
